Cecil Abungu

Coordinator of the ILINA Program and a PhD candidate in law at the University of Cambridge, where he studies how UK labour law must adapt to AI tools; his research focuses on legal foreseeability of harms from autonomous AI agents and the role of developing countries in global catastrophic risk‑focused AI governance, and he holds law degrees from Strathmore University and Harvard Law School.
